As a functional nutritionist, holistic health coach, and strength and conditioning coach I focus on a whole-foods approach that is practical in helping clients improve their health, achieve their goals and develop sustainable habits to live a healthy, nourished and balanced life. To improve the body’s function, we must look at the individual’s gut health. Understanding how your gut is functioning and listening to the body’s signs and symptoms are critical areas that can boost your individualized overall well-being. Healing honors the importance of your specific health while analyzing evidence-based research and clinical understandings to guide our therapeutic decisions.
Learn how to restore and maintain your health and prevent illness through the use of whole-foods, lifestyle changes and targeted supplements (where needed). I am deeply passionate about helping people live optimally so they can enjoy the aspects in life they love most.
I am committed to joining you on your health and nutrition healing journey. One of my roles is to discover the root aspects of your health concerns, going well beyond your symptoms. For interested individuals, I analyze lab markers (read more about lab markers here) and run specific diagnostic nutrition evaluations (which I can order), providing quantitative results demonstrating where your measurements currently stand and retesting to view your nutritional and lifestyle progress. I can also integrate customizable fitness (strength training, cardiovascular and other fitness modalities), mindfulness meditation and yoga into your nutrition consultations based upon my undergraduate degree in Kinesiology, training as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and extensive research and studies.
Improving your health is a journey that is not about quick fixes, but instead gets to the root of your health concerns. By looking at the body has a whole functioning organism, rather than separate parts that operate independently, we are able to see the dynamic web-like connections of how nutrition and other lifestyle factors have great impacts on your health outcome.
